Q: “You have such wide musical interests; you are as comfortable playing…”

A: “That’s my reason of life and that’s my enjoyment, which I hope it will last to the end. I play with a lot of violinists. I did a lot of work called first violin, Joe Venitti [ph]. I did play with Sven [inaudible] (??), Stef Smith [ph], just before he died that poor thing, he was so kind that man. Then not long ago with Johnny Ponte [ph]. There is a new young violinist in Paris called Didi Locud [ph]. He is 21 but one day, he will be something. He’s already something now. And, of course, unfortunately, I don’t know, so many violinists there is now because, thanks to the pop and rock music, they got the intelligence to play our violinists now, which give the chance to young violinists to perform. But unfortunately, I don’t know the name of those people.”
