Vancouver Community College Offers an undergraduate degree in Applied Music with a Jazz & Contemporary Music Concentration option. The college also offers a 2-year diploma program in Jazz & Contemporary Voice. Courses can be taken on a part-time basis. Numerous performance opportunities are available with the Jazz Orchestra, Saxophone Ensemble, Latin Jazz Ensemble and several small jazz combos.

Humber School of Creative and Performing Arts Humber's three-year diploma program in jazz and commercial music is the biggest and longest running in Canada. The school also offers workshops and professional development courses. The associated Community Music School offers children and youth a wide range of courses, including jazz.
