Lenny Breau
Biography
Lenny Breau (guitarist) was born August 5, 1941 in Auburn Maine and passed away August 12, 1984 in Los Angeles, California. Breau’s francophone parents relocated to Winnipeg in his teens, where he honed his skills in the family band. A master of technique and encompassing classical, flamenco and country styles as well as jazz, Breau is considered one of the true geniuses of jazz guitar.
